Description

Delightful individual cups filled with warm apple pie filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups apple pie filling
  • Whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Mix together softened butter, egg, and milk in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls and press each ball into the greased muffin tin molds to form a cup shape.
  6. Fill each dough cup with apple pie filling.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
  9. Serve warm with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the dough and ensure not to overfill the cups with apple pie filling.
