Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix to form a dough.
- Knead for a few minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 60 minutes.
- While the dough is rising, make the blueberry cream filling by blending blueberries, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle and spread the blueberry cream filling evenly.
- Roll up tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with a gooey blueberry center.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Refrigerate for about a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
