Description

Delightful rolls filled with a gooey blueberry cream center, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix to form a dough.
  4. Knead for a few minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 60 minutes.
  6. While the dough is rising, make the blueberry cream filling by blending blueberries, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle and spread the blueberry cream filling evenly.
  8. Roll up tightly and cut into slices.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before serving with a gooey blueberry center.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Refrigerate for about a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
