Description

Delicious twist on the classic Philly cheese steak sandwich, packed into crispy quesadillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the cooked steak to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir until heated through.
  3. Place one tortilla in a separate skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle half of the cheese onto one half of the tortilla.
  4. Top with the steak and vegetable mixture, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

Enjoy with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for added flavor.
