Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 tub whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (optional for dusting)
  • Chocolate drizzle (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch cake pan.
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Pour this mixture into the prepared pan and bake according to package instructions until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. Poke holes all over the top of the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  6. Combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup in a separate bowl and pour this mixture over the poked cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
  7. Allow the cake to cool completely.
