Description
Churro cupcakes recipe with cinnamon sugar, moist cake, and creamy frosting. Easy baked version of the classic churro.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup milk
½ cup sour cream
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line cupcake pan.
2. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt.
3. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla.
4. Alternate dry mix and milk/sour cream.
5. Pour batter into liners and bake 20 minutes.
6. Cool before frosting, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Notes
Use cream cheese frosting for a richer taste.
Top with caramel drizzle for extra sweetness.
