Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, melted butter, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Mix shredded coconut, chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Add chopped nuts if using.
- Pour the filling evenly over the hot crust.
- Bake again for 20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
