Description

A vibrant salad combining crunchy broccoli, sweet grapes, and a creamy dressing, perfect for lunch or as a side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb broccoli (cut into 1-inch florets)
  • 2 cups grapes (halved lengthwise)
  • 1/3 cup red onion
  • 3/4 cup pecans

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables: Start by cutting the broccoli into 1-inch florets. Then, halve the grapes lengthwise and finely dice the red onion.
  2. Toast the pecans: In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the pecans for about 3-4 minutes until fragrant and slightly browned.
  3. Mix the dressing: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Combine the salad ingredients: Add the broccoli, grapes, and red onion into the bowl of dressing and gently fold them in.
  5. Add the pecans: Just before serving, fold in the toasted pecans to maintain their crispy texture.
  6. Chill: Transfer the salad to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep pecans separate until serving to maintain crunch.
