- ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Set your oven to 375°F and let it fully preheat.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until incorporated.
- Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and beat until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Cookies may be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature or microwave for a few seconds.
